Match Report

We traveled to Thurles to take on Peake Villa in the league, after starting brightly and playing some good football we fell behind after fifteen minutes when our opponents were awarded a penalty which they converted, we fought hard to get back into the game and got our deserved equaliser after half an hour when Caolin O' Gorman poked home a free kick that was all the scoring in the first half as the teams went in level at half time.
The second half again saw us dominate for long periods with no reward, as the game was drawing to a close it looked more and more likely that the winner wasn't going to come, but with ten minutes left a low shot from Caolin O' Gorman found it's way to the bottom to give us three valuable points.
