We took the game to our hosts right from the start, we took a deserved lead after ten minutes when Niall Halley headed home a Cormac Crowe corner for his first goal of the season, ten minutes later Eammon Wootten made it two nil with an individual effort when he finished with a cross shot beyond the keepers reach. Despite dominating the rest of the half we failed to add to the score line. Five minutes into the second Shane Murphy made it three nil when he finished off a long kick from the keeper, but a mad ten minute spell in the last fifteen minutes when we conceded two goals to leave us biting our nails, but with five minutes left Alex Mcalpine put the game safe when he headed home from close range. We now look forward to the semi final draw.
