Match Report

We traveled to Clonmel for the semi final of the Tipperary cup,In a game where we were very slow out of the blocks we found ourselves one down inside the first minute, we escaped a couple of more scares in the first twenty minutes before we finally got into the match, only a miracle goaline clearence prevented Eddie Kendrick from equalising after half an hour that seemed to spark us into life as we controlled the rest of the half but with no further score we went in at the break one down.
In the second we started much better and created some half chances but again we couldnt find a way through, on the hour mark we conceded a second, to our credit we didnt throw in the towel and got back into the game with twenty minutes left when Andy Fitzpatrick finished off our best move of the game, but try as we might we couldnt find the vital equaliser and in the last minute the home team wrapped up the game from the penalty spot.
