A good all round display of football from the Park boys ensured they controlled the game from the start, a good passing move set Shane Tobin free on the right on 15mins and his cross was slotted home by an impressive Brian Hyland, and on 30mins Tobin again found space on the wing and brushing past the full back blasted home into the top corner to give the Park comfortable 2-0 lead at the break. Eamon Gleeson, Conor Casey & Ian Flannery controlled the middle of the field in the second half and with Tom Kirwan in command at centre half the visitors failed to treathen the Park Goal. Final score 2-0.
