Match Report

We welcomed top of the table and unbeaten Saint Michales for our latest game in the league,the first half was a very even affair with both sides playing some good football and also defending very well when they were called upon to do so, there was little to choose between the teams in the first twenty minutes with chances few and far between however on twenty five minutes the visitors took the lead through an unfortunate own goal there was no further score in the half.
The second half started with us on top as we went in search of the much needed equaliseer on the hour mark only a last ditch tackle prevented Shane Murphy from leveling the game, ten minutes later we were hit by the sucker punch by conceding the second goal of the game, try as we might we couldn't find our way back into the game as our visitors held on to win two nil.
