Match Report

We welcomed Nenagh in the 2nd round of the Munster cup, the game was a very even affair early on with both teams having chances to take the lead but neither team could make the break through, we finally took the lead after twenty five minutes when Shane Tobin finished low to the far corner after a through ball from Michael Hickey, we dominated the rest of the half but it took us until the stroke of half time to get the second when Eddie Kendrick headed home a Shane Tobin corner to leave us two up at half time.
We continued to control the game in the second half and played some delightful football on the hour mark we made the game safe when Michael Hickey got our third, the game became very comfortable from then on with twenty minutes left Shane Tobin got his second and our fourth with a low shot from the edge of the area, we got through the remainder of the game with little alarm as we made our way into the next round.
