Match Report

We welcomed Two Mile Borris in the league semi final, we got of to a dream start when with barley a minute on the clock Eammon Wootten cooly finished off an Eddie Taylor through ball, there was very little in the game for the next twenty minutes as the game became very scrappy but on the half hour mark we started to gain control of the game and created some good chances which we could not convert, then on the stroke of half time we were dealt a blow when the visitors leveled from a free kick.
We again started the second half on the up and got at our visitors from the start, it took us until the hour mark to reclaim the when Andy Fitzpatrick finished off a Shane Murphy pass, from that moment on we took complete control of the game and it was no surprise when we got the third when Eddie Taylor headed home an Andy Fitzpatrick corner, the last twenty was played out with us totally on top and under no pressure as we safely made it into the final.
