We got our F A I cup campagain up and running with an away tie at Cappaquinn, we took control of the game from the first whistle playing some very good football, we took the inside the first ten minutes when Colin Keane curled a free kick from twenty yards into the top corner, we continued to control the game and created some good chances but we failed to convert any of them, we finally got our deserved second goal when Spudy Mcgrath headed home from close range after Barry McCmorack knocked back a Graeme Keane delivery, the home team had no answer to us and on the stroke of half time we got our third when Daniel Mloden converted from the penalty spot.
The second half continued in the very same vain as we continued to pass around with great confidence and created a number of chances but we failed to take them, with twenty minutes left we got our fourth goal when Barry McCmorack stroked home from the penalty spot after Benny Ryan was fouled following a through ball from Graeme Keane, we got our fifth with fifteen minutes when Shane Murphy cooly finished after been picked out by a delightful cross from Graeme Keane as we eased our way into the next round.
