Match Report

In what can only be described as a pulsating game that had everything we were delighted to come out on top, we started the game very slowly and found ourselves one down after just four minutes but to our credit we didnt drop our heads and found ourselves level after eight minutes when Eddie Kendrick finished off a delightful flick by Andy Fitzpatrick, we found ourselves behind again after just fifteen minutes but once again we replied within five minutes when Andy Fitzpatrick volleyed to the bottom corner from that moment on when took control of the game and after half an hour we took the lead for the first time we Paul Mcevoy finished off a great move by rifiling a shot to the top corner, ten minutes later Roger Peters got our fourth when he finished off a goal mouth scramble to leave the half time score 4 2.
The second half was a much calmer affair and although we did create some good chances we were unable to add to the scoring, credit must go to the defence for there performance in that second half as they restricted our opponents to a few long range efforts as we saw out the game with very little alarm.
